no sir, inguinal hernias have nothing to do with your prostate, the best thing for your inguinal hernia is surgery, get it patched up and it will not bother u ever again. remember hernias can get complicated and it can compromise your vascular tissue. go see your doctor A.S.A.P. goodluck

Well if you have an inguinal hernia then you need to get it surgically fixed. It shouldn’t expose the prostate to bacteria; the inside of your body is sterile. The fecal matter inside the intestines will stay there. Only the outside of the intestines, the sterile part, might be protruding in the cavity where the prostate is. An inguinal hernia can be painful but it is not life threatening.

The only way it could possibly become bad is if the intestine protruding got twisted and the blood supply cut off to that part of the intestine; then you could have some serious problems. If that were happening you would definitely be in excruciating pain all the time.
