the prostate is a walnut sized gland that encircled the urethra, the tube through which urine passes. This gland produces the seminal fluid, it forms most of the ejaculation. They don’t know the exact reason, but there is evidence that a high-fat diet may play a role in promoting it’s development. Recurring prostate infections and a genetic predisposition to prostate cancer are also possible factors.
When a man reaches middle age, it often starts growing. It appears to be mainly caused by hormonal changes associated with aging.
